Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
We are seeking a registered dental assistant to join our team to support one of LA's leading non-profit healthcare organizations. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced clinic setting with adults, focusing on dental assisting duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Start Date: ASAP (2-3 weeks from offer)
Location: South Central Los Angeles (Must be able to float between multiple sites)
+ Main Site: Los Angeles, CA 90011
+ Jefferson: 0.9 miles away
+ Huntington Park: 3.7 miles away
+ Montebello: 10 miles away (25-30 minutes from main site)
Schedule:
+ Days: Monday - Saturday (2 Saturdays a month, with potential for more if needed)
+ Hours: 7am - 7pm (8-hour shifts, typically 7:30am - 5pm)
+ Floating Day Off: One day off during the week
Pay: $28-32/hr (Vaccinated and boosted candidates preferred)
Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire (C2H)
Training: 2 weeks at the main site
Population Served:
+ Underserved community and geographic area
+ Non-profit organization
+ Current patient load: 8-10 per day, increasing to 16-20
Job Duties:
+ Scheduling appointments
+ Sterilizing instruments
+ Rooming patients
+ Charting
+ Taking X-rays
+ Assisting during procedures (handing tools, no intraoral work)
+ Typical RDA responsibilities
Requirements:
+ BLS Certification
+ RDA Certification
+ Additional certifications (preferred)
+ COVID -19vaccination card

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $37.00/hr.
